Hey there. Nice to meet you.

In case the taglines haven’t given it away somewhere, I’m a World of Warcraft player. I’ve been playing since the game was released, and have been playing on the Aggramar server since November 26, 2004.

The more detail-centric of you might realize that the date I just gave was three days after the release, however my WoW career started on November 23, the very instant the servers came up, on a little box of concentrated Hell called Whisperwind.

I started out as a warlock, then added a paladin and rogue to my list of characters. When Burning Crusade was released, I added a Draenei hunter and warrior to the ranks. These days, I’m found playing the warrior most often (hence the name of the blog title), and spending the bulk of my time in PVP battlegrounds and arenas, since my guild right now is only large enough to do Karazhan consistently, and we’re battering on the door of Zul’Aman.

I admit, I’m terrible. I’m used to playing a holy paladin and affliction warlock in PVP – two classes that don’t necessarily have to turn quickly in order to do their job. I consider myself a decent healer, and it’s easy to play a class whose job is to just cast spells and run away, but playing a warrior in PVP is definitely a learning experience.

I’m trying to wean myself away from keyboard turning – using the mouse is infinitely better, I know, but I never did get into the FPS games that trained most of the PVPers to use WASD and the mouse for controls, so for me, it’s learning how to play all over again.

All that aside, welcome to the blog. Feel free to comment, but please keep it civil. I see enough flamethrowing on the realm forums.
